How to Use This Pomodoro Timer
This simple, web-based Pomodoro Timer is designed to help you focus on your work without any distractions. Here is a quick guide on how to get the most out of it.
1. Add Your Tasks
Before hitting start, it's crucial to know what you are working on. Click the Add Task button to list your objectives for the day. Estimate how many "Pomodoros" (25-minute sessions) each task will take.
2. Start the Timer
Click the big START button. Focus on your selected task until the timer rings. Do not stop. If a distraction pops into your head, write it down on a piece of paper and get back to work immediately.
3. Take a Break
When the alarm sounds, stop working! Even if you are "in the zone", taking a break is essential for long-term productivity. Click Short Break to start a 5-minute cooldown. Stretch, grab a water, or just close your eyes.
